The building dating from 1877 originally housed three shops on the ground floor and residential housing upstairs. The building is part of the rationalist architectural trend characterized by a simple volumetry of rapid construction which was frequently used for the construction of commercial buildings. It includes a cornice with modillions and consoles, a central pediment that crowns the roof as well as rounded pediments above the windows.
