The 1924 building with more than 200,000 square feet was considered one of the largest commercial buildings in Canada. Located in the heart of Montreal’s old business district, this building reflects the prosperity that animated the sector at the beginning of the twentieth century. This vast building with large windows has the characteristics of a North American tripartite skyscraper, soberly displaying an academic composition and ornamentation.
